Neverland Studio designed these business cards for Vive Active, a reformer pilates studio fused with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and design.
Describing her client, Dani Hunt, the Founder and Designer of Neverland Studio said, “At Vive Active, each pilates workout is a total sensory experience – with the perfect harmony of light and sound – lifting you out of our daily grind and elevating you to new heights.”
The design idea was to develop a strong brand with a sleek, contemporary feel and considerable wow-factor.
According to Dani, their vision was create a dynamic brand identity with both athletic strength and creative vibrancy.
“We kicked things off with the design of a powerful brand logo, that incorporates a sleek, balanced icon and robust, modern letterforms,” Dani said.
“During the brand development phase, we also created the brand’s tagline, long live you, as a custom lettered piece and developed a set of luminous neon gradients.”
“These gradients inspired the lighting in the studio, as well as the brand’s design assets, including their business cards, extended promo suite and merchandise range.”
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards were printed by Adams Print and the goal was to get the gradient as fluorescent as possible.
“At the same time, we wanted to print on a black card with a super smooth feel.”
“To achieve this, we printed digitally, 4-colour-process with an opaque white underlay on each side.”
“The paper stock is Neenah Classic Epic Black stock (352gsm) with a soft touch laminate applied both sides which gives it a sleek, velvety feel,” Dani added.
