Pott & Pann Restaurant Business Card: Timeless & Whimsical

Kira Bausch designed these business cards for Pott & Pann, a restaurant, café and bar that offers rustic food and fancy cocktails.

Pott & Pann is a place where people of all ages come together to enjoy food and drinks all day long.

Let’s find out how Kira’s design of these business cards successfully embodies the essence of the restaurant’s vibrancy and welcoming vibe.

Logo & Pattern Designs

Kira was approached by the client to develop a visual identity that suits the restaurant, which is fun, down-to-earth, and appeals to customers of all ages.

The logo design is a bold and thoughtful one that seamlessly integrates with the overall graphic system.

According to Kira, it was inspired by the restaurant’s name. Hence, you can see a pot illustration in the middle of the logotype, with the ampersand cleverly incorporated.

To complement the design, Kira put together some beautiful hand-drawn illustrations of ingredients and utensils used in the restaurant to create a playful pattern around the logo, which is absolutely whimsical!

This not only helps to present the brand’s authenticity but also emphasises the joyous dining experience Pott & Pann offers.

Typography & Colour Palette

The logotype is made up of a sans serif font that is bold, playful and thoughtful. It was custom-designed especially for this restaurant brand.

Kira had also chosen a rustic, minimal-colour solution for this identity. The earthy tone (brown) reflects a timeless brand that gives both a unique warmth and nostalgic feel, which helps to express comfort and attract families and customers from different age groups.

Apart from that, it’s obvious that the custom illustrations are a huge part of this restaurant’s branding style!

As Kira puts it, “It is the cherry on top of every brand we design. These custom elements help the client’s brand create an absolutely memorable, unique and outstanding look.” And she was right!

The Printing of Business Cards

These business cards were printed on Gmund Heidi paper.

Kira explained, “The card has a nice rough texture that complements the brand’s rustic charm.”

“The business cards and menu covers were printed using the letterpress technique to make the design even more vivid while touching it.”

All in all, this is a timeless and authentic business card design that masterfully captures the essence of Pott & Pann and ensures its attractions to diners who long for a positive dining experience.
