Studio Fable designed these business cards for Eve, a healthcare service that’s tailored to people’s unique needs.
Studio Fable managed the branding and web design for the client. According to the studio, Eve provides online healthcare consultation services in dermatology, gynaecology, mental health, and sexual health. Eve is fem-centric and queer-positive and aims to change healthcare in India.
The business cards come in two colour variations. Unlike the usual health-related brands, Eve embraced a more vibrant and modern approach for its brand identity.
Logo and Illustrative Elements
When it comes to logo design, the idea is to present something soft, simple, and very approachable.
The feminine yet bold wordmark concludes with a full stop at the end to indicate that the brand is a one-stop solution for all your healthcare needs.
As for the illustrative elements, they stem from the usage of the full stop.
Circles are used as a primary element, while lines help to make the language simple and clear.
Studio Fable explained that the orbit has been created and used on the brand collateral as a memorable mnemonic to help customers remember the brand.
So basically, it takes the full-stop from the identity and turns it into a symbol that can mean a bunch of different things. It can represent the orbit of the human body, or it can be a symbol of change and equilibrium.
Typography and Colours
The typefaces used in the visual identity are Besley and Source Sans.
Besley is feminine and unique. It adds the flair that the brand needs, while Source Sans simply complements it.
The colour palette is carefully chosen to bust the myth that healthcare can’t be vibrant or appealing.
Studio Fable stated that the palette was designed to be bold, unique yet soft. It also works perfectly in the graphic system for more dynamic layouts and added personality.
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards, which have yet to be printed, will be printed in Gurugram, India.
Studio Fable suggested having the cards printed on 300gsm fine art paper.
