Júlia Gerhardt designed these business cards for Brisa, a brand of shoes immersed in the Brazilian lifestyle and committed to proving that high fashion can be sustainable, affordable and comfortable.
Brisa stands out with premium products, reducing barriers and distances between Brazil and Australia. The company specializes in bringing the best Brazilian shoes, 100% vegan and environmentally friendly.
“The Brisa brand was conceived under the pillars of comfort, style and modernity. In addition, the logo and graphics were built based on Brazilian culture, landscapes and lifestyle, to strengthen the client’s personality,” Júlia replied when asked about the inspiration behind the visual identity.
The logo adapts well with different versions of the business card, which come in different colours and patterns. According to Júlia, these arrangements were properly designed to represent Brazil through colours and patterns, while expressing a sophisticated, simple and young brand.
“I chose to use mainly green and yellow for the brand’s colour palette, which represents Brazil and Australia, as well as other tropical colours,” she added.
The typeface used for the logotype is called Butler Bold while the secondary typeface is Gilroy Medium, used for the word ‘Brazilian Shoes’ on the card.
These business cards are not printed but if they were, “They would be printed on textured paper with a matte finish and localized varnish to convey the sophistication and contrast of the brand,” Júlia suggested.
