Alicja Surga designed these business cards for The Astronomy Roadshow, a museum based in London, UK.
According to Alicja, the museum was founded with love for those who love to discover the universe and experience the wonders of the night sky, stars and planets.
“The logo design reveals a series of details for the brand, showing the center of the universe. The brand identity was inspired by modern trends with a slight express to the past decades,” Alicja said.
The business card design is clean, nostalgic and uses illustration as main element to express the brand identity.
“For this project, I decided to use some illustrations of the XVIII century to create a touch of nostalgia. My inspiration was to elevate the identity towards its current consumers while remaining to honour the historical part of the universe.”
“The colour palette was inspired by the tones and reflection of the sky. The colours are soft, subtle, and welcoming. The colour palette combined with the vintage illustrations reflected a unique appearance of the brand.”
“Galaxy, universe, and sophistication are some of the principal elements that were selected to transmit in each piece of the brand.”
These business cards are not printed yet, but according to Alicja, “The cards should be printed on high-quality paper with high grammage. I created a beautifully varied colour palette to play within the collaterals, archiving the inspiration of the galaxy and the universe.”
