Alessandra Giorcelli designed these business cards for Sojade, a French company that offers over 40 different soya-, rice- and hemp-based products.
The business cards are part of the rebranding project, and they come in multiple versions, each with a colour scheme derived from elements found in nature.
Logo Design & Typography
The typeface used for the logo is Majesti Banner Heavy, while Futura Medium is used as the secondary font.
“The logo is formed using the word “Sojade”, which represents the emotional side of the brand (through humanistic typography), and two messages that describe the core business and origin of the company (using rational, sans serif typography),” Alessandra said.
“In addition to the typographic logo, the brand can be reproduced within a particular color and shape.”
“In this representation, it takes the form of a soybean berry. It appears hand-drawn and irregular to transmit the naturalness of the products.”
Another key element can be found on the logo is the message “bio et vegetal”, which simulates a stamp and denotes a guarantee.
Colour Palette
Besides the eye-catching logo, the use of multiple colour choices for the back design is brilliant! They bring out the logotype and make ‘Sojade‘ even more memorable.
The Sojade color palette includes green, pink, and earthy tones that reflect the countryside and sunsets. This reinforces the idea of naturalness, balance, and well-being.
All in all, this is a beautiful business card design with a retro vibe that catches the eye!
