Michelle Brutto designed these business cards for Romy Collective, a design studio founded by Michelle in Los Angeles.
‘Laid-back studio, thoughtful design’, that’s how Michelle described her studio.
She named it Romy, which means ‘dew of the sea’, due to the fact that she lives close to the coast and it’s where she feels most at home.
Another interesting fact is that the name is the mash-up of her children’s names, Rory & Remi, which makes it even more creative and meaningful.
According to Michelle, her card design was inspired by textile patterns and eye motifs.
It’s also worth noting that the card comes in three variants (with different colours and illustrations) while the front design remains simple and minimal, along with Romy’s catchy logotype.
These square business cards were printed by MOO using extra-thick, Superfine Mohawk paper with an uncoated, textured finish.
