The film production company’s business cards are stylish but have a retro vibe thanks to the use of a distinctive logotype and well-selected colour palette.
Hynt Films specializes in brand content, documentaries, short narrative films and commercial storytelling. They provide full video production services, from ideation to execution.
The New Brand Image
After years of operation, the company’s founder was planning a rebrand. Besides a new name, he wants a rebrand that more accurately reflects the level of film work he’s now making.
The brand name, Hynt, symbolizes path/way, passage, and journey. The idea behind the new name and the visual tones reflect the studio’s own creative aesthetic: intentional, rich and vivid.
A Retro Logotype and Colour Scheme
The logotype has a really nice contrast in terms of font size and style. The lowercase letters form the logotype, which is slightly slanted, appealing to the card receiver at first glance!
Its script lettering shows continuity from one letter to the next, with a tweak to the letter “t” that adds visual appeal to the overall design.
When deciding for the brand’s colour palette, Hoodzpah took a lot of color samples from photos of the California coast, where the Hynt crew is based.
As a result, brand colours that consist of earth and jewel tones are born! However, the contact info side of the business card remains white for better legibility.
These colours are a perfect complement to the classic logotype.
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards are not printed, but if they were, they would look great with a blind-embossed logotype on a thick paper stock.
This is a fresh and clean business card design with a timeless appeal and tactile experience.
