Broklin Onjei designed these business cards for Gastown International Language Academy (GILA), a brand new boutique ESL School that provides premium quality education and services to international students from all over the world.
GILA is an acronym for Gastown International Language Academy and it is located in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Gastown neighbourhood.
Their vision is to be a progressive academy that combines innovative approaches to English Language Teaching, with enterprising Integration of Technology in a dynamic learning environment that values people and the environment.
“The logomark was inspired by Gastown’s most famous landmark – its steam-powered clock. While also implementing Gastown’s initial ‘G’ and some shapes that represent the innovative style of learning offered by the academy,” Broklin said.
Apart from that, the vibrant colours also contributed in enhancing the appearance of these business cards, making them memorable and impressive!
“The chosen colour palette portrays the idea of different languages and cultural groups for a modern ESL school that provides high quality education to international students.”
These business cards were printed by MOO using their Luxe business cards – uncoated, naturally textured 32pt Mohawk Superfine paper.
