Antonio Calvino designed these business cards for Rethink Everything, a creative company that focuses on using creativity and imagination to solve complex business problems.
Rethink Everything provides highly strategic, innovative solutions that create a large-scale impact.
They excel in various areas of expertise, ranging from innovation and product design to film and storytelling, partnerships and collaborations, and brand activism.
Their expertise and vision help clients achieve their goals and make a positive impact in their industry, regardless of the project size.
Monogram and Brand Image
These business cards are a part of the branding materials that effectively portray the brand through the use of colour, font, and layout.
Antonio said that the company’s vision of the world is that “everything is possible and everything can be rethought.”
“The company wants to be seen as a game-changer in the industry, with a strong commitment to positive and sustainable change.”
“So, it was immediately clear that the goal was to create a dynamic, positive and especially creative identity.”
The brand’s initials inspired the monogram ‘R-E.’
Antonio remarked that the monogram serves as a visually appealing and recognizable symbol that can be used across various marketing materials and communications.
Typography and Colours
The typeface used for the logotype is Ed Nimpkish (by Eko Setiawan).
This is a combination font that includes two fonts with different styles to create a unique look and feel.
“This typeface, with its style variations from sans serif to fun calligraphic, has allowed to play with text and generate infinite combinations with illustrations and colours, establishing a dynamic and changeable identity,” Antonio said.
“In the logotype, for example, all the letters can always change, so the results will always be different, which looks pretty playful.”
The business cards come in various colours, which allow the brand to be versatile and energetic.
“The use of a wide colour palette, from yellow and orange to blue, made it possible for different colour combinations and variations.”
“This created a sense of vibrancy and energy, while also giving the brand the flexibility to adapt to different contexts and situations.”
The same goes with the text layout of the contact information on the front side of the card, which is arranged in an unconventional way to create visual interest and to make the card recipients “rethink” how they read the information.
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards were printed on Freelife Cento (360 g) of Fedrigoni, a type of recycled paper with a smooth finish.
“Sustainability is an important value for the company,” Antonio remarked.
“Therefore, all the papers chosen for the stationery are recycled papers.”
