Emma Kunz designed these business cards for Horse Thieves Tavern, a restaurant in Dedham, Massachusetts.
The design is a creative approach for a brand that wishes to give a whole new interpretation on a traditional New England tavern that allows the locals and travelers to enjoy good food and drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
“The client is creating a tavern based off of the rich history of a small town called Dedham – highlighting the ‘horse thieves’ in particular,” Emma said.
“They wanted to keep a strong nod to Dedham’s past while staying relevant and elevated.”
“This particular card design was part of a brand identity pitch that was inspired by found historic documents – the mix of typefaces, stamp details, and worn-in textures.”
Besides the well-chosen colour palette, other catchy elements worth noting on the card design including the well segmented areas for the contact details and the stamped logo that signifies quality and unique personality of the brand.
