TIT Planetarium Budapest Business Card

Nóra Rohmann designed these business cards for The TIT Planetarium Budapest, the iconic 1000 square meter large dome where the educational screenplays about astronomy have amused the visitors as an imitation of the night sky.

“The project is fictive and it’s my bachelor’s degree final project. The planetarium is currently closed, because the building is in bad condition,” Nóra said.

Even so, it didn’t stop Nóra from presenting an amazing visual identity that’s both nostalgic and futuristic at the same time.

“The brand identity is focusing on an astonishing education. The logo is inspired by the unique shape of the building and the silhouette of the planets from the space.”

The colourful cloud-like shapes and small detailed symbols are used for the pattern system.

Nóra explained further, “The first one animates the nebulas while the second represents the various lights of the stars. The patterns and layouts based on the same square-grid system and used for every design outputs such as the entrance tickets or the informational posters.”

These business cards were printed by Digitalpress, a digital printing company in Budapest.

“The paper stock used is Stardream – silver 285 gram, and I used two layers for the business card,” Nóra added.
