Mike Knapek designed these business cards for The Horse & Elephant, a luxury bar and restaurant.
“With the intention of elevating experience, I worked with the team at The Horse & Elephant to develop a new brand identity that would match the quality of its food and drink; and to establish a stronger connection with the roots of the brand,” Mike Knapek said.
The client approached Mike for the branding project including designing the company’s logo, menu, uniform, signage, business cards and stationery set.
“From the initial logo design through to the menus and stationery, I delivered a luxurious brand identity that reflects the establishment’s charismatic look and feel.”
The logo was a clever one: a combination of two animals based on the brand’s name. What seems to be an obvious illustrative logo of a horse was further enhanced by an elephant waving its trunk – speaking of creative use of negative space!
The typography used in the visual identity are Quiche Regular and Termina.
These business cards were printed by Super Luxury Business Cards in UK. The cards were printed on 600gsm uncoated card with gold and white foil.
