These business cards are part of a fresh rebranding for the company. These cards are amazing to look at due to their unique capsule shape.
The card’s elegant layout is complemented by its refined typography and gorgeous illustrations.
Logo Design and Unique Shape
Red stated that the client’s candles come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours, which add to the aesthetics of the room.
“The client requested for a trendy, natural look with an enchanted, witchy vibe for her rebrand.”
“The oval shape was chosen because it represents uniqueness and individuality.”
Apart from that, the business card features two different layouts – vertical for the contact details and horizontal for the back design.
We love how the logo variations fit perfectly into both layouts without losing the brand essence.
“The logo consists of two hands holding a flame, which represents them being handmade and shows that the client’s candle-making skills are magical,” Ren said.
Typography and Colours
The typeface used for the logotype is called Meno Banner.
According to Ren, this font style is trendy and was used to bring professionalism to the brand.
“The company’s soy candles are non-toxic and burn clear with no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants.”
“The colour palette chosen was based on the colour of the candles in their natural state without added colouring.”
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards are printed on cotton paper, and this is an obvious choice since the process of making cotton paper requires no bleaching.
As Ren puts it, “They’re natural and recyclable, and it was the ideal choice to use along with the natural candles and branding.”
Hence, it’s the perfect choice for Candles & Co. to opt for a unique shaped business card, which is not only visually appealing but also exudes a friendly and inviting aura, despite its minimalist and sleek appearance.
