Laura Prpich designed these business cards for Local Refillery, a zero-waste grocer located in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, Canada.
Local Refillery approached Laura for the branding project including designing the company’s logo, website and other collaterals.
“Ginette (the owner) and I, we created a brand that is meaningful, deliberate and will pave the way for future sustainable brands. The goal was to keep the design minimal and let the brand ethos do the work without adding chaos, distraction or fluff to the design,” Laura said.
“The overall design is clean, concise and intentional – just as it should be, while leaving room for expansion and national growth.”
Local Refillery uses greyish green as the main colour, a perfect tone to emphasize on the brand’s role as a planet friendly grocer and coffee house. The typography used in the visual identity is Brandon Grotesque.
These business cards were digitally printed by Botanical Paperworks in Winnipeg, Canada. According to Laura, the card design’s intent was to house all the pertinent information and it was printed on Wildflower Seed Paper.
