Bruna Padula designed these business cards for Lauda Machado, an architect.
“Lauda was opening her studio at the time of the project and seeking to position herself in a more professional manner. The visual identity was designed to convey a quality brand image; add credibility and connect with her target audience,” Bruna said.
Lauda’s brand was idealized under the pillars of sophistication, simplicity and modernity. In addition, the icon and graphics were built based on the structures of the (brand name) letters to reinforce and strengthen the client’s name and persona.
The typeface used for the logotype is Questrial Regular. According to Bruna, the colour palette was chosen with the intention of representing a serious, sophisticated, young and feminine brand.
“Therefore, the choice of dark green (representing seriousness and sophistication) is contrasting with beige and light pink (representing youthfulness and femininity).”
These business cards are not printed but if they were, “The cards should be printed on textured paper with a matte finish and localized varnish to convey the sophistication and contrast of the brand,” Bruna suggested.
