Josh Walker designed these business cards for Dizzy Heights, a business that introduces innovative, design-led gifts, stationery and homewares to the best retail spaces.
Dizzy Heights was founded by Kate Ellis and was forged into a tactile brand that could set Kate apart from competitive companies, whilst also reflecting elements of her work ethic and driven nature. Josh helped to develop Kate’s new branding as she became the sales agent late last year.
“The client is very forward thinking and logical so I wanted the brand to reflect this,” Josh explained.
“When constructing the brand, we focused on clean Scandinavian design and the idea of wayfinding and progression. This resulted in an arrow being integrated into the logo which has been used in some simple and playful ways throughout the website.”
The fonts used in this branding project are Maison Neue Book and Maison Neue Light.
“The colour palette (consists of soft linen, rich olive, pine green) was created to soften the simplicity of the logo and bring a sense of approachability to the brand,” Josh added.
These business cards were printed at Printed.com for short runs.
“To get the cards looking as premium as possible, the cards have been placed on a 400gsm uncoated stock to get more texture,” Josh said.
“The cards will later be printed at Moo.com for further quality.”
