Cansu Merdamert designed these business cards for Dirty Hands, a ceramic studio based in France.
“The studio welcomes resident professional and amateur ceramics artists and designers from all over the world,” Cansu said.
“The main goal of the brand was to create simple, beautiful and meaningful products for sustainable living.”
The shapes found on the business card design were inspired by the abstract ceramic shapes and colours made in the ceramic studio.
“The shapes were inspired by Suprematism. These graphics were made with thoughts of people interacting with materials, simplicity of forms and natural lines.”
“As for the logo, a simple, Latin serif typography was used to give the brand a historic and modern feel the same thing at the same time.”
These business cards are not printed but if they were, Cansu envisioned them to be printed on 300gr and above paper.
“The most important feature for the business cards to look quality is using thick paper. In addition, Pantone printing on the selected special paper will give the best result,” she suggested.
