Dave Arustamyan designed these business cards for Croissant Café & Bakery, a conceptual branding project for a café based in Toronto, Canada.
According to Dave, the main task was to create a logo and identity for a company that specialized in producing delicious croissants in Canada.
“The company was one of a bakery that had a small cafe and carried out online orders and delivery of their production. This project inspired me from the very beginning to create a paradoxically trimmed but warm style with French flavour.”
When asked about the inspirations behind the logo and colour palette, Dave replied, “Since the cafe-bakery was located on the lake, the basis for creating the logo lay down the boat, which in turn poured into the shape of a croissant.”
He continued, “The style itself and the colour palette was designed and selected to catch on with its uniqueness and friendliness both in the combination of colours and in the simplicity of figures and elements.”
The typography used in the branding project is Neutral Grotesk (regular).
These business cards are not printed since it’s a conceptual design. However, it’s a super catchy business card design that uses vibrant colours to stand out and make an impression!
