Vegrande designed these business cards for Cafe Kacao, a restaurant that offers Latin breakfast and homemade food all day long in Oklahoma, U.S.
Cafe Kacao uses the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods to deliver rich textures and flavours to the client’s palate. The menu is inspired by Guatemalan and Mexican cuisines, with a slight touch of Salvadorian and Brazilian flavours.
Speaking of the branding design, Vegrande said, “We redesigned the brand and re-imagined the narrative and tone behind Cafe Kacao, emphasizing on nature, coziness and Latin America’s vibrant personality, with a contemporary approach.”
According to Vegrande, the brand was derived from nature itself, using the bird, Quetzal, as an ever-present symbol of the Latin culture, with a sparkling Latin spirit and taste for fine detail, making the visual identity highly memorable.
“Cafe Kacao’s personality maintains contrasts between shapes, typography and warm colours that represent the rich gastronomic proposal, while looking casual and accessible for all audiences – everybody deserves Latin food!”
