Flavia Virga designed these business cards for Bakery – Cakes & More.
Apart from baked goods such as cakes, biscuits and pastries, the bakery also offers ice-creams, hot drinks and more.
The business card is designed to portray the sweetness and warmth the customers feel when visiting the bakery. A place where one can enjoy the delicious food and having a good time with family and friends.
“The logo design was inspired by the softness of the cream and the granules of the sugar. The primary font used for the logo is a classic serif called Abril Fatface. It’s perfect as it gives an elegant style to the logo,” Flavia said.
The secondary font used on the business card (for the contact details) is Aglet Sans. Besides that, a beautiful pattern is created to make the brand stand out from competitors!
“An abstract pattern is designed for the brand’s packaging and business cards. It is full of soft and warm colours, just like the cakes.”
These business cards are not printed but if they were, “A glossy effect would be applied on the logo (on the front) while matte lamination for both sides of the business card,” Flavia suggested.
