Trento Studio designed these business cards for Brani, an urban clothing brand.
Brani is a fashion brand that successfully combines originality with a modern, urban aesthetic to produce standout clothing.
Their branding concept, “City in Style,” captures the spirit of contemporary city living through fashion. Amidst the urban hustle and bustle, Brani’s mission is to empower wearers to express their true selves through their choice of attire.
Now, when it comes to the logo and overall brand design, the team at Trento Studio nailed it, especially with the stylish business card design.
Brand Image
Harryson Ramirez, the designer at Trento Studio, said that the client wanted a fresh and modern representation for the brand image.
To achieve this, they have incorporated holographic projection to create a broad spectrum of tones, starting with silver.
Brani’s target audience is the youthful crowd, and they also aim to connect with people in their everyday lives.
Logo Design
The logo design brilliantly reflects Brani’s core values: commitment and dedication.
By using a square shape, it was able to convey commitment, stability, perseverance, and audacity through its four points.
Apart from that, the circular element reflects the all-encompassing nature of modern culture. It appears hollow, signifying room for growth, mirroring people’s journey alongside the brand’s evolution.
Typography and Colours
For typography, they’ve chosen Centra No2 Extrabold for the logotype.
This bold font choice conveys precision and strength, making it a perfect fit for standalone brand representation or when paired with an isotype or symbol.
When it comes to the colour palette, black represents the brand’s strength and equilibrium, while white serves as a point of light and is mainly used in backgrounds.
As for the holographic colour (or litmus), it is a nod to inclusivity, which is why points of light and colour can be seen from different perspectives, thus maintaining a dynamic pattern.
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards have not been printed yet, but according to Harryson, they have already sorted out the materials for the initial testing phase before moving on to production.
They are going with Holographic Cardboard Tornasol 220g and Grandee* matte texture 220 cardboard for the text area. Both will be utilised with printing for a comprehensive and visually appealing result.
*a type of textured cardboard or paper.
