Emily Willis designed these business cards for Oh My Golly, a boutique letterpress and graphic design studio based in Wollongong, New South Wales.
Since founded Oh My Golly, Emily has devoted herself to reviving the traditional practice of letterpress printing. The ability of combining the traditional craftsmanship of letterpress printing with modern ingenuity has made Oh My Golly’s work unique and one-of-a-kind.
Emily and her team love helping people to tell their story with memorable, eye-catching designs. Therefore, as the owner of Oh My Golly, it’s only fair for Emily to design their corporate business card that speaks for itself – something creative and of course, letterpressed!
Not to mention, ‘Oh My Golly’ is such a memorable name and if you’re curious how Emily came up with that, it was actually named after The Pixies’s song, Oh My Golly.
The colour palette used for the business card was inspired by ’80s surf brand. Apart from that, the colourful geometric shapes and the stylish typography showcase a fun, passionate brand that values quality and impressive designs.
These vertical business cards were printed in-house via 4 colour PMS letterpress printing on 450gsm GMUND Max White.
