Lemonade Studio designed these business cards for Kościuszki 22, an apartment investment managed by Dasta Invest in Kraków, Poland.
Dasta Invest is a real estate developer with over 20 years of experience in the Krakow market. It specialises in the development of housing estates as well as prestigious investments.
The Brand’s Background
Kościuszki 22 is located by the Vistula river, also known as Wisła in Polish, which is Poland’s longest river.
“The excellent location is what makes Kościuszki 22 an absolutely unique place for those who do not want to compromise. It is one of the best addresses in the city, ultra-connected, and only a few minutes from the city center,” said Olga Kalarus-Zguda, the Creative Director at Lemonade Studio.
“The apartments have been designed to meet the highest quality standards. The extraordinary architecture skillfully blends the old with the new, emphasising the historic origins of the location while using modern solutions at the same time. To meet the high expectations of the future residents, the apartments’ comfortable space has been planned in a way that can accommodate each individual’s needs.”
Logo Design & Typography
According to Olga, the aim of the design was to create a visual identity that emphasised both the modernity and the historical nature of the investment.
An additional assumption was to create materials that would give the impression of luxury, but in a delicate form.
“The logo concept was created by combining the letter ‘K’ with ‘22’ (the building number), which gives the impression of two swans floating on the Vistula river and the key to the city gates (the city of Krakow’s symbol),” she explained.
“The typography used is called Poppins, and it’s a geometric sans serif based on pure geometry, especially circles, that corresponds perfectly with the logo design.”
“Apart from that, an embossed marble pattern was used as a reference to the apartment building’s finishing materials.”
These business cards were printed by Kolory, a print and design studio in Kraków, Poland.
“The printed materials were made of uncoated, mass-dyed paper and enhanced with copper hot stamping and letterpress,” Olga said.
