Pieter van Est designed these business cards for Est., his self-branding as a freelance senior visual designer.
“I started in December as a full time freelancer under the name Est. My inspiration comes from my last name and also the abbreviation of the word ‘established’ (since I started my own business),” Pieter said.
“For the business card design, I was searching for a classic look with trendy colours.”
“As for the logotype, I used Noe Text and customized some things to make it my own.”
“In combination with the patterns I think it really came out the way I wanted.”
The Printing of Business Card
These business cards were printed by PeterPrint from Groningen and according to Pieter, they did an excellent printing job.
“They used a foil printing technique for the business cards. The logotype has a gold foil finish to really bring out that classic look.”
Overall, it’s a clever, modern and classy design that’ll make a lasting impression!
