Daniel Agboola designed these business cards for Vera, a natural cosmetics brand that aims to promote and protect skin through its products.
According to Daniel, Vera’s products are rich in antioxidants which protect skin from free radicals and environmental damage and contains healing herbs (aloes) that will also make your skin glow.
“Based on the strategy we developed with the client, the project goal was to create a brand that had a minimal and sophisticated culture about it, one that feels modern and is quality oriented. The brand seeks to appeal to elegant, stylish and confident people. The voice is one that is refined and direct and one that creates a refreshing feeling.”
“Working by the brief, I went for a tall and elegant logotype, one that describes the slenderness of the aloe vera plant, I used the font, Giraffey. The colour palette was inspired from natural colours of the aloe vera plant.”
“We developed a simple and modern identity with graphic elements made of thin lines that convey an elegant quality,” Daniel said.
The client handled the card-printing but Daniel recommended the cards to be printed on smooth non-textured papers, “It would give a modern feel that would look great with the logo and graphic elements.”
