Human Studio designed these business cards for Truu Nutrition, a supplements and lifestyle brand founded by Christopher Gil.
Truu Nutrition was born in 2019 due to the need to find really effective natural food supplements on the market, without deception and without ingredients that harm the body. The brand’s main objective is to connect with their community by improving their habits towards a healthier lifestyle. To achieve this, they need a highly effective visual system for their products.
According to the graphic designer at Human Studio, the idea of the design is to highlight the ‘energy and vibrance’ when consuming the product. The brand’s logo is a blend between a monogram, a pill and the ‘power’ symbol, representing the core of the brand.
Truu Nutrition seeks to empower people – from professional athletes/fitness fanatics, to people who only seek to improve their quality of life – with the priority of their well-being and confidence. Therefore, a ‘clean label’ is used to label the products, showing both the formulas and the ingredients clearly, as the designer puts it, “Transparency at its finest!”
The typography used in the visual identity are Ministry of Moron and KontrapunkMiki (Bold & Regular). The hand-lettering of ‘Truu Ingredientes’ and ‘Truu Nutrition’ are seen on the business card, overlapping the logo for that memorable impact! It shows that the brand can be a true contender in the supplement category. Also, by adding gold-foiled borders to the card adds sophistication and premium to the brand image.
These business cards were screen-printed, gold-foiled on a Mohawk white Fine Paper by Floresmeyer, a fine printing workshop that specializes in high end and premium printing.
