Unifikat Design Studio designed these business cards for Samanta Lingerie, a handcrafted underwear from Maków Podhalański, Poland.
According to Paul Marcinkowski, the Brand Designer at Unifikat, Samanta Lingerie is a company with a long tradition. They work inside their own sewing room with passion and creativity in almost 25 years, creating unique underwear for women.
Samanta Lingerie approached Unifikat for the rebranding project, including designing the company’s logo, packaging and business cards.
“We maintained harmony in the typography by using modern and simple look but at the same time communicate professionalism. We applied embossed logotype effect as it gave us premium and lovely look with very sensual feeling, which in our opinion necessary for a lingerie brand,” Paul said.
“Then, the visual system was established for other materials of the company, such as boxes, bags, tags, business cards and others. That was our mission: to translate outstanding attention to detail in their products and brand identity.”
Explaining more about the brand’s logomark designing process, “Samanta Lingerie’s old brand identity used additional brand elements which was the letter ‘S’ from the logotype. We took this element and we gave it new life. We closed this letter to the circle and to give it a sensual vibe, we implemented a calligraphy style to the line – now it looks like a soft ribbon.”
“We decided to move forward with this style of implementation which we can use in illustration made for Samanta. With that, we have a never ending story about the products or women’s beautiful body shapes that fits to the lingerie world.”
These business cards were printed by Indigodruk, a printing studio in Warsaw, Poland.
“These triplex cards were printed using CMYK colour on three Munken pure paper 300g, creating a 900g business cards with blind embossed logo,” Paul said.
