Riverbank Coffee Business Card

Riverbank Business Card

OK Creative Agency designed these business cards for Riverbank Coffee, a tranquil outdoor coffee pod located on the banks of the River Mersey and Trans Pennine Trail in Greater Manchester, UK.

Riverbank Coffee is a coffee shop with a difference, nestled amongst the woodland and wildlife, off the beaten track. It serves the best coffee, refreshing cold drinks, homemade cakes, snacks and hot food to enjoy whilst out appreciating the local area.

Riverbank Coffee Logo
“For the logo and visual identity, we looked at how type can be manipulated by water (as the coffee pod is located by the river) and recreated this digitally,” said Jack, the Co-Founder of OK Creative Agency.

The typeface used is Acumin Pro Condensed. It is a clean, crisp font that still holds its shape well when manipulated.

The wavy lines once again hint at the River Mersey, where the coffee pod is situated, adding depth and texture to the brand identity.

“The colour palette pays homage to Riverbank’s first ever coffee pod, which was bright red, and definitely stands out from the earthy tones of the surrounding area.”

“The overall identity is vibrant, bold and impactful to support the exciting new addition to the local area. The business has gone from strength to strength in, for many, very uncertain times and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them,” Jack said.

Riverbank Coffee Pouch
These business cards are not printed yet but if they were, they would be printed on some really thick, uncoated, textured card around 540gsm.

“To attain the textured lines the cards would be printed using a press, rather than standard digital printing. As for the printer, we would be printing the cards at the amazing Appleyard Press based in Manchester,” Jack recommended.
