Labels Studio designed these business cards for OYDIN, a natural skincare brand.
“We envisioned OYDIN’s visual brand identity to be clean, minimal and elegant, which would be applied to a variety of the studio’s collateral,” said Yaz ten Klooster, the founder of Labels Studio.
Labels Studio was able to pull this off thanks to the perfect combination of typography and colour choice.
“The monochrome colour palette tends to show calmness, simplicity and sophistication,” Yaz explained.
“As for the logotype, the inspiration came from the brand’s desire to create something that was both elegant and unique.”
The typography was done with a typeface called Ninna Display. There’s a timeless elegance to this Roman display that’s also quite contemporary, which is ideal for this company’s brand image.
It’s worth noting that there’s a special ligature between letters “I” and “N”. Not to mention, that little detail on the letter “D” makes the logotype even more classy and appealing!
These business cards have not been printed yet, but if they were, Yaz recommended printing them on textured matte thick paper.
“The logomark should also be embossed on the business card to highlight the signature of the brand and to add distinction and luxury,” Yaz said.
