Haley Eberly designed these business cards for Northern Sun, a small business that sells handmade wares such as jewelry and painted pottery.
According to Haley, the client often upcycling items and giving vintage pieces new life.
Due to that, the design inspiration was heavily influenced by a ’70s camp aesthetic, but with a modern and feminine flair.
“We wanted a design that felt hand spun and playful but still put together,” Haley said.
Apart from its vintage feel, Northern Sun’s logo design is perfect to deliver the artistic and creativity side of the brand.
“The logo reflects the way the brand merges classic pieces with modern touches to create something new and unique.”
When it comes to card-printing, Haley suggested to use an 18pt recycled cotton paper.
She explained, “This is to give the card a sturdy, textured feel and using a material that falls in line with the brand’s sustainable approach.”
