Tomomi Maezawa designed these business cards for KUTARQ, a Spanish design and architecture studio which is known for its innovative but timeless designs and the use of unique and memorable details.
“To visually express the characteristics of the studio, I explored the shape of a simple word-mark with a small twist. The unusual shape of the letter Q works as a hook to make the brand stand out. The logo as a whole has a modest look which gives the brand an approachable feel,” Tomomi said.
These business cards were letterpress-printed on Colorplan paper by Obsolete Letterpress based in Valencia, Spain. According to Tomomi, the letterpress printing technique was able to give depth to the look of the design.
