781 Studio designed these business cards for Kaya Institut, a foundation of research center in Germany investigating the potential of plant medicine, including psychoactive plants, with a focus on healing womb-related areas of a woman’s life.
“The logo design is developed from the silhouette of a woman, which has the hair formed by the variety of plants researched by the foundation,” explained the graphic designer at 781 Studio.
“The colours were inspired by plants, based on the principal of an olive green tone. To complement the design, purple was used to express calm and as a contrast, we used a light tone that shows the purity of the womb and woman.”
The typography is sophisticated and fine-drawn, joined by a union between letters ‘Y’ and ‘A’ that shows the connection between women and plants.
These business cards were offset printed on textured uncoated stock.
