Amanda Louisi and Victor Luna designed these business cards for Jogaderia, a startup company that rents board games at restaurants.
According to Amanda and Victor, the mission was to develop an inviting brand identity that shows how fun and easy it is to spend time playing with friends.
“A survey was conducted to find out how people react to common and abstract shapes that could be used in the logo, including their perceptions on board games in general,” they said.
In the end, Amanda and Victor came up with four symbols, which represents the different characteristic of games: dynamic & simple, solid/strategic and fast movement.
The graphic used on the business card reminds us playing blocks and the paths illustrated on board games – which can be expanded as well.
The colours used are high contrast, especially with a black-colored background.
Overall, this is an eye-catching business card design with a lasting impression!
