Simone Mongini designed these business cards for Fork Deli, a bustling independent café in central London, renowned for its fine foods selection.
The owner of Fork Deli approached Simone for the branding project, including creating the brand’s identity and website that could reflect Fork’s simple yet effective approach to food.
“I came up with the ‘K’ and fork symbol. Designed to become a statement mark,” said Simone, the Founder of Mongini Graphics.
“The ‘K’ with the fork was not only well received at the first proposal, it also quickly became the most recognized, easy-to-spot symbol in Marchmont Street, Fork Deli’s location.”
The typefaces used in the visual identity are Vrinda and Lane Narrow.
The Printing of Business Cards
These business cards were printed by Ripping Image, from just outside London.
According to Simone, the cards were printed in litho, the highest resolution technique (crisper than digital) on a 400gsm textured stock with bronze foil detailing to the ‘K’ in front.
