Sarah Klamans designed these business cards for Cherry Grove Eye Care, a local eye care business based in Cherry Grove Beach, South Carolina.
The client approached Sarah for the rebranding, hoping to increase their presence since previously the business had very little digital collateral and marketing. Therefore, an identity mark, a responsive website design, marketing postcards and business cards were created based on the client’s request.
The colours of the business card are inspired by the ocean and sand of the nearby beaches. The logo is formed by the brand’s initials. The circular shapes of the ‘c’ and ‘g’ resembles a pair of glasses and two holes are punched out where the lenses of the glasses would be to further this concept. A very unique twist for an eye care brand indeed!
To make sure the cards can present the brand effectively, we asked Sarah to share with us the printing details which she gladly did, “A separate file is created for the printer with mark-ups outlined. Slight alterations would need to be made to the logo to ensure the circles line up with the right spacing. The printer would need to create a die strike of the two holes and print with full bleed. Alternately, the cards can be printed as standard digital prints and a screw punch can be applied by hand.”
This business card design is another perfect example of ‘simplicity at its finest’!
