TE Perspective designed these business cards for Bread Lady, a modern bakery based in Penang, Malaysia.
Bread Lady is located in an area that has large number of tuition centres. The client hopes to attract parents and children by offering breads with modern twist on traditional classics.

Speaking of the design inspiration, TE said, “Bread Lady’s visual language was inspired by the limitless imagination of children. By just looking at any breads, children often can imagine a world where breads are living things. For instance, breads that can go surfing, dancing, traveling or even baking more breads.”

As for the fascinating logo design, it was actually based on the lady owner herself. If you watch closely at the illustration below, her fringe was made of an upside down French bread. How playful and adorable!

Blue and pink are a nice colour combination and the contrasting mix are perfect to layer a pop treatment while giving a youthful appeal to the brand. The interior design continues the visual language of Bread Lady to further express the brand’s story and values.
The business cards were printed on Takeo’s Verona Felt White using offset printing.
