Florencia Porreca designed these business cards for Agata, a local neighborhood pool supplies store in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Agata was founded in 2010. According to Florencia, the store offers the best selection of pool chemicals, equipment and cleaning accessories.
“Agata helps its clients to understand how to maintain and take care of their pool: to keep it clean and well maintained at all times.”
The business card design is classy and one-of-a-kind, especially due to the embossing printing technique that makes it stand out from its competitors.
Explaining the unique design, Florencia said, “The client asked me to create a fresh and atypical image that wouldn’t be seen in the world of pool supplies. He wanted a twist.”
The typography used in the visual identity are Gellix and Kobe. Thick and thin fonts are a clever combination, while blue colour is a nice contrast to the greyish background.
These business cards were beautifully printed via embossing printing technique on recycled paper stock.
“I chose recycled paper because I wanted to equilibrate all the plastic that the products use. Same as the plastic bags they use, I tried to change them to compostable packaging,” Florencia explained.
